“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” – Audrey Hepburn
Hello again beauties! So anyone who loves makeup will tell you that sometimes, it’s not only the product you use that makes the difference, but the tools used to apply them. Below is a few of my current favorites:
The Original Beautyblender (click here) and the Beautyblender Micro.mini (click here) – If flawless, beautifully blended, dewy foundation is your thing – then this sponge is a must for you! I am sure you have heard all of the hype surrounding this sponge – and I am here to tell you, it’s all true! You can use this sponge to blend foundation, concealer, cream contour, highlighters, bronzers etc. I have also used this little beauty to set pressed powder so it doesn’t look so dry. The sponge comes in the original size and the micro mini. The micro mini is great for smaller applications, like under eye concealer.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Brush #12 – If you are looking to perfect your brow game, this dual ended brush is a must in your arsenal. With a precision slanted brush tip on one end and a spooly brush on the other end – this is the only brush you will need for perfect face framing brows. The brush gives you enough control to apply powder or cream brow product and the spooly is perfect for distributing that product thoroughly. This will help you to not “over-apply” brow product. Also, the angled end can double as a gel eyeliner brush – bonus!
NARS Kabuki Yachiyo Brush – from its handspun wisteria handle to its perfectly elongated dome of bristles, this brush is so perfect for the application of blush, highlighters and for diffusing bronzers. I find it is perfect for applying blush to the apples of your cheeks and ever so lightly applying powder highlighter to your upper cheek bones.
NARS Kabuki Ita Brush – Who doesn’t want to look 10 pounds lighter and like they inherited the genes of a mythological Greek goddess? Ok so maybe this brush can’t turn you into a Greek goddess, but it can help you chisel out those cheekbones, giving them an instant lift and making you look 10 pounds lighter. Its flat, straight design makes contouring the hollows of your cheekbones a cinch.
Shisheido Eyelash Curler – I must admit, since I was a young girl, I have been a little fearful of eyelash curlers (as I am sure many of you are). If you have ever had the misfortune of pinching your eye with one of these, this fear is completely legitimate. EEK! This has been the first eyelash curler I have not feared and actually look forward to using. I have large eyes and because of its edge free design and broad curvature – I have never pinched my eyes and it gets all my lashes curled on the first go.
Harry Josh Pro Dryer 2000– This little, light-weight hair dryer packs some heavy duty force! With multiple heat settings and speed settings, I was able to dry and style my long, thick hair in under 10 minutes! And because of its ion technology, it left my hair silky smooth and shiny – not frizzy and burned. Also, a tiny design feature that I thought was so amazing (yes, sometimes its the little things that count) – it comes equipped with tiny grippers on either side of the dryer! This allows you to set the dryer down on the counter – it stays put!
I hope you enjoyed ♥ Please leave me a comment and let me know if you have any post ideas you would like me to work on! I would love to hear from you. MUAH!! XOXO
