When we last saw our Bella, she had a bit of a set back with our mischievous hare, Lucifer. Well, as you know the story continues with her managing to arrive at the ball at the last minute with a little help from her Fairy Godmother. In our version, Bella makes it to the Everson Museum of Art to meet her Prince. Spending the day gazing at beautiful art, sculptures, and of course her Prince Charming, Bella looses sight of the time and rushes to leave before it’s too late! And we couldn’t have a Cinderella story without leaving something behind! Although Bella’s Fairy Godmother dressed her in Saint Laurent black velvet pumps (which are drool worthy themselves), it’s her incredible Signature Collection Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses that our Bella leaves behind! An enamoured and now desperate Prince Charming has only the sunglasses to lead the way back to Bella. And so his journey begins.
The Dolce & Gabbana’s are from my personal collection thanks to The Eye Consultant’s of Syracuse, who carry an incredible line of designer frames and sunglasses, many unique to their store as a local retailer. You can contact Heather in their Optics Department for an appointment at 315-422-4412. As for the rest of Bella’s look, the dress is from my collection as well and a previous summer look by BCBG. And you’ve already seen the DIY for our flowercrown in a previous post, but for those who haven’t, take a look! We would like to express a special thank you to the Everson Museum of Art who were generous enough to lend us their incredible entryway for our shoot. That staircase was such a blast to photograph on and the staff was incredibly helpful.
Since this is our last installment we decided to skip all the drama and let you see that it really does have a ‘Happily Ever After’ with the return of her sunglasses. We didn’t feel that giving a face to Prince Charming was as important as the idea of him and the story of Bella was and so we hope you understand and allow for our artistic licence within this series. I also hope you enjoyed this installment of The Tale of an Italian Bella series and feel free to let us know what you thought of it! Now go ahead and take a look at the 3rd and final installment and maybe you’ll find yourself booking a day at the museum to have as much fun as Bella did!
Xo,
