This is my final installment from Fashion Week, and it is my look for the Gala. The final night of Fashion Week was stunning, set in the Landmark Theater with a flower trimmed bridge spanning part of the runway. I, of course, was mostly behind the scenes, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the looks, in fact I may have gotten a better look at some of the pieces there than on the runway.
Speaking of runways, I’ve been using either my front yard or my foyer as my runway to present each look to you all week and as much as I’ve had fun putting these looks together it will be nice to get behind the lens again. My final look for the week, was an elegant gown from ASOS with beautiful muted tones. I paired my black Saint Laurent pumps with it and borrowed some of my mom’s favorite jewels. And just to add a little pop of color and texture, I brought along my Ted Baker calf hair clutch.
I had been at Lord & Taylor earlier in the day for the launch of their Design Lab which is totally worth checking out, but that’s another post for another day. I went to the mall to take care of that and so I wandered over to my Chanel counter and luckily our miracle worker, George Davis (315-466-0600 x250) was working and put my makeup together in 30 minutes flat. Giving me a modern smokey eye to accentuate, but not overtake my look. I highly recommend you head straight to him for any of your needs for either product or event makeup.
So that’s that. Oh, and because I truly couldn’t resist, I brought The Original HouseBunny out for our last shoot. I couldn’t wrap up Fashion Week without the guy who is responsible for the name of this blog. 😉 Now scroll the look and as usual, click the links, and enjoy. I’ll be following up later this week with my top selections from the runway collections.
