Every year, I look forward to the coverage of Fall and Spring Fashion Week and now that bloggers are encouraged to tweet, snapchat, and insta all of the looks as they are coming down the runway I get to indulge in Fashion Week in real time, from every city, for the whole month, each season. Back in college I would build collages on my laptop of my favorite looks that would then serve as my wallpaper and inspiration all season. So when I was offered the opportunity to attend Syracuse Fashion Week as The Hare & Style there was no way I was going to miss out. And you want to know the best part? I got to meet some incredible people, get first looks, and just getting to be a part of SFW was such a high!
Beauty Nation was part of the team of make up artists and stylists working the show, and it’s founder, Ashley was able to get me behind the scenes access all week. (We have a fun project in the works in the coming month with Ashley so stay tuned!) Meeting some of the local designers, models, and stores presenting their latest looks was so much fun! Some of the featured lines are Jane by Chloe Schnell, Inspired Designs by Lisa Marie Butler, Michelle DaRin Designs, and Dress Code 202 by Patrice Carpenter. We also saw looks from the participating stores, Apricot Lane, Mr. Shop, Jet Black, Showoffs Boutique, as well as J Michael’s Shoes. So today I have put together a selection of my favorite looks from the runway taken by the photographers hired by Executive Director, Lisa Marie Butler for SFW.
